Take the role of a machine-augmented girl
NanoApostle is an action role-playing game where players play as Anita, a machine-augmented child, who must stand her ground and battle cybernetic experiments to execute the great escape, allowing her to free herself from the shackles of the cynics who got her in the top-secret facility in the first place.
Taking you into the world of science fiction, NanoApostle offers dark, atmospheric gameplay that deals with futuristic elements visualized in pixel graphics. It is a hack-and-slash, dark fantasy playable from a top-down perspective, featuring reaction-based combat and a unique destruction point system.
Execute the greatest escape
NanoApostle follows the story of a girl named Anita, an offspring of experimental procedures in a top-secret research facility. Integrated with the sentient nanomechanical entity known as ‘Apostle,’ she possesses lethal nanomachines that she must utilize in order to defeat other experiments within the shadowy research facility, find the right path, and get away from the slammer that she’s always known.
Breaking free from the research facility is not easy. Here, you must face all sorts of emotionless and destructive bioweapons with the intent to kill and destroy you. Some of them include telekinetic colossi, axe-using mechs, and fire-breathing monsters. These vicious monsters have a failsafe ability, allowing them to alter reality and become even more dangerous than they already are.
Using her nanites, Anita can see structural weaknesses known as destruction points, letting her know which points in those bioweapons are the most vulnerable. Utilize this ability and unleash deadly attacks and projectiles to target those vulnerable points. You can use the points gained through combat and challenges to enhance your skills. However, bugs occur when facing different bosses, most prominently with the final boss who does not attack.
RPG packed with action
All in all, NanoApostle is an action-packed RPG about a machine-augmented girl who must break free from the nightmarish prison where she was experimented on. Here, you play as that girl, Anita, and together with the nanites, you must defeat other bioweapons to execute the greatest escape. It must be noted, however, that you might encounter bugs when dealing with bosses.
